
TERMS & CONDITIONS
GENERAL​

1.1. Kate Miller-Helyar trading as Kate Helyar Styling (hereinafter "Kate Helyar Styling") offers personal styling, personal shopping and bra fitting services.
1.2. Kate Miller-Helyar resides at at Le Douit Farm, Rue du Douit, Castel, Guernsey GY5 7JX.
1.3. The terms and conditions are between Kate Helyar Styling and the client using the services of Kate Helyar Styling. The client covenants and agrees to the terms and conditions set out herein.

CONFIDENTIALITY

2.1. By providing your details to Kate Helyar Styling, you are consenting to Kate Helyar Styling informing you via email of our latest promotions, fashion events, and the latest trends.
2.2. We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your details to any third party without your permission, other than where we must do so to arrange deliveries with stores and boutiques as part of our personal shopping packages.
2.3. From time-to-time Kate Helyar Styling may send information about discounts, promotional offers, and events. If you do not want this information to be sent to you, please email us at katehelyarstyling@proton.me stating that you do not wish to be sent any Kate Helyar Styling information.
2.4. As stated, other than as set out in 2.2 above, we will never disclose information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for further details.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
3.1. Kate Helyar Styling reserves the right to revise prices and details at any time without notice.
3.2. All prices are quoted on the Services page of our website in pounds sterling and form part of these terms and conditions. We accept payment of cash, bank cheque, or a direct bank transfer as set out on the relevant invoice.
3.3. A deposit of 50% is payable at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid within 24 hours of the commencement of the service booked. All other invoices should be paid within 7 days of the invoice receipt date.
3.4. Where goods are ordered or collected on behalf of a client by Kate Helyar Styling the latter will generally provide to the client a link for direct payment to the merchant. If for any reason Kate Helyar Styling purchases goods on behalf of the client, the amount owing must be paid to Kate Helyar Styling within 7 days of the invoice date.
3.5. Kate Helyar Styling (if required) agrees to provide all receipts of purchases to the client as proof that Kate Helyar Styling has purchased goods on behalf of the client.

DISBURSEMENTS

4.1 All travel costs outside Guernsey must be paid for by the client. Travel time will be incurred after 30 minutes of travel time and at a rate of £10 per quarter of an hour thereafter.

4.2 All other costs and disbursements incurred by Kate Helyar Styling in performance of or preparation for the service booked must be paid by the client to Kate Helyar Styling within 7 days of the invoice date.

CANCELLATIONS
​
5.1 You may cancel your Personal Style Assessment or Bra Fitting session or appointment for any reason. However, please note that if the aforementioned service is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, a refund will not be issued. In addition if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, a refund will not be issued. You must complete your style questionnaire and provide the required information at least 24 hours prior to the aforementioned service in order for it go go ahead with the scheduled service. Failure to complete the questionnaire will result in the session being cancelled and a refund will not be issued.

5.2 You may cancel your Wardrobe Edit or Personal Shopping appointment for any reason. However, please note that if the aforementioned service is cancelled with less than 7 days notice a cancellation fee of £100 will be incurred. The assessment questionnaire and any other requested information must be provided to Kate Helyar Styling within 24 hours of the first appointment whether that be online or in person.

5.3 You may cancel your Concierge Service appointment for any reason. However, please note that if the aforementioned service is cancelled with less than 7 days notice a cancellation fee of £350 will be incurred.
5.4. In the event of a cancellation, the client will be offered an alternative date to complete their personal styling appointment.
